Craig Fauver grew up in the charming Staunton, VA which is rich with history and culture about 2.5 hours outside of DC down I-81. After graduating H.S. he moved South to Blacksburg and attended Virginia Tech. He graduated in 2007 with a B.A. majoring in political science with a minor in history. Craig began studying secondary education at Mary Baldwin College while waiting tables in his hometown of Staunton immediately after college. Craig moved to Washington, DC in 2009 to teach grades 5-7 social studies at a now defunct public charter school in NE DC near RFK. During the Summer of 2010 Craig took his real estate salesperson classes and began working with Long & Foster's Capitol Hill office to help guide buyers and sellers to a smooth and stress-free settlement. In 2014, he completed an additional 180 hours of education to become a real estate broker and started Craig Fauver Real Estate. Craig loves animals of all kinds, particularly dogs. He grew up with beagles and bought his first dog, a yellow lab named Bowser, when we was a sophomore at VA Tech in 2004. More recently, he adopted two Lab/Border Collie siblings (Rosie and Koopa) when his friend Lindsey's dog had a litter in 2014. In his spare time he enjoys almost any DIY project, tinkering with automobiles, growing vegetables, fooling with WordPress, exercising, golf, foosball (American style), and giving his dad a hard time (all in fun).
