Katie is originally from Delaware and moved with her family to Nebraska as a child. After graduating from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in Education she taught mathematics in Omaha, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and abroad in Southeast Asia. Her rewarding career as a teacher taught her the importance of patience and listening so that she may best accommodate each individual's specific needs. In 2008 she moved to southwest Florida, switched careers to real estate, and with her father formed the Smith Team. Several years of immersion in the Cape Coral and Fort Myers real estate market with a strong focus on waterfront properties and specialized training in short sales and foreclosures has put her on the forefront of the current market trends in sales, marketing and customer service. Her community involvement and active lifestyle personifies all that Southwest Florida has to offer both young and old. Robert Smith
A retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant with a Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems. He has lived in several areas of the US including Delaware, Illinois, Nebraska, and Washington DC and has traveled extensively to other countries including England, Germany, and Canada. After retiring he worked as a defense contractor with Northrop Grumman and then later started his own home repair/handyman business. He's worked with people from all walks of life and he values the relationships that he's established. In 2008 he moved to Cape Coral and with his oldest daughter began his real estate career. He enjoys boating, gulf, and loves all that the Southwest Florida lifestyle has to offer and he shares that excitement with his customers.
