Kathy Toomey has been a real estate agent since 2006. Her prior work experience in Finance and Human Resources brings a higher level of patience and knowledge to the real estate transaction. Kathy works with buyers and sellers in the Tryon, NC area and the upstate SC towns of Landrum and Campobello. Kathy enjoys working with both first time buyers and seasoned veterans. Her approach to working with sellers is to guide them to prepare their property for the market which translates to quicker sales and a higher return for the seller. Kathy knows it takes patience and understanding to guide buyers through their property search. Satisfaction comes from seeing both happy sellers and buyers at the closing table!
Interests
Kathy is very active with the local Humane Society both as their Treasurer and providing a foster home for cats or dogs. Kathy is also the past President of the Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce and Past President of the Tryon/Polk County Board of Realtors. When she is not volunteering or working she enjoys playing golf (sometimes!). She also enjoys all the live music venues in the area, especially the outdoor concerts.
