THE MICHELIN-STARRED RESTAURANT TOWN
Welcome to Yountville, California. Yountville is town in Napa County, and home to around 3,000 residents. The town is noted for its exquisite food scene, which boasts no less than four Michelin-starred restaurants. Gourmets travel here to try out top-notch dining establishments like the French Laundry (two time winner of “The World’s Best 50”) and Jeanty and Bottega. The Yountville food scene dates from 1977, when renowned chef Philippe Jeanty opened the doors to his restaurant in Domaine Chandon, owned by the famous French champagne house Moët & Chandon. Most of the residents of Yountville live inside the realms of the Veterans Home of California Vintage Estate, which is also one of the town’s top employers. Other large companies include Domaine Chandon California and the Newton Vineyard. Aside from some of the world’s best food and wine, the Yountville offers several cultural experiences with venues like the Lincoln Theatre. If you’d rather learn more about wine, check out Napa Valley Museum, and the Bespoke Collection. In the latter, you can sip brand wine while checking out the wine, art and design gallery. If you want to go for a tour of the city, Yountville has layout that lends itself readily to walking or bicycling. You won’t be bored as you explore the many unique boutiques, colorful galleries and gastronomy-inspired stores down in Yountville, and when you’re reached your entertainment limit, go ahead and enjoy a soothing cocktail by the rooftop pool of the Bardesseno’s Dive Bar!
