WELLESLEY
Massachusetts, U.S.A.
TOWN OF GREAT SCHOOLS
Welcome to Wellesley, Massachusetts.
Wellesley is situated in Norfolk County and home to around 28,000 people. The town is wealthy with one of the highest median household and family incomes in Massachusetts. Wellesley is famous for its many schools, with outstanding educational institutions like Wellesley College, Babson College and the academic facilities of Massachusetts Bay Community College. It is no wonder really that Wellesley has the second largest concentration of residents with advanced degrees in the United States. Part of the reason is the excellent public schools, in particular Wellesley High School, which was has been ranked one of the best in the country. A great time to experience the town spirit is the annual Wellesley's Wonderful Weekend, when the entire community comes together for the Veteran's Parade and Fireworks. The fireworks show by Atlas Fireworks is quite spectacular and one of the most elaborate displays in the country. For those who are into music, check out the Wellesley Symphony Orchestra which hosts classical, pop atnd family concerts at the Mass Bay Community College. Wellesley is a town of faith, and is home to several religious institutions. These include the Temple Beth Elohim, Wellesley Congregations Church, St. Andrews Episcopal Church and a dozen others.
