Welcome to Vine City, Atlanta.
Vine City is much conjoined with the adjacent English Avenue, with the two communities sharing a common history and largely common interests. A historic Atlanta neighborhood, Vine City is situated just a few minutes from downtown. The neighborhood can be described as having lots of potential, but still needing plenty of work to get to where it could be. On the bright side, it is truly an affordable place to live, and several large investment groups even offer contributions to down payments for homebuyers. One of the best parts about this neighborhood is the proximity to surrounding downtown areas. Students who live here have close access to the adjacent Atlanta University Center and Georgia Teach, while sports enthusiasts can watch Falcon games at the famous Georgia Dome. Occasionally, the latter brings an influx of traffic congestion thanks to the many tourists and students looking to have a good time. Driving is not the only option to get around however, as public transportation can be found within walking distance at the Vine City MARTA train station. The neighborhood comprises a combination of restored homes and vacant structures, with most of them being quite old with plenty of renovating potential. Chances are that buying property here is a good investment, as this neighborhood will likely look very different in a few years. The city is working towards much revitalization and redevelopment in the area, so keep your eyes open for new things to come!
