California, U.S.A.
Welcome to Victorville, California.
Victorville is located in Victor Valley of San Bernardino County, and is home to around 121,000 people. A few years ago, in 2010 to be more exact, Victorville became more accessible through the new Xpress West railway, which connects Las Vegas with southern California. Old Town Victorville is a beautiful quaint place with historic features, and the area has undergone massive revitalization during the past two decades. Dilapidated buildings have been torn down, while others have been restored to former beauty with modern features. One of the more notable structures downtown is the Veteran's Memorial on the corner of Seventh Street and Forest Ave, as well as the Route 66 Museum on D Street, and the Old Victor School on Sixth Street. Thanks to its location in California and relative vicinity to Los Angeles, Victorville has been used in numerous filming projects throughout the years. One of the more famous productions includes Lethal Weapon, which was shot at El Mirage Dry Lake, just west of Victorville. Face/Off and Kill Bill: Volume 2 was also shot in and around the city, as well as several other major movies. Victorville has a lively arts and entertainment scene, and locals can enjoy a night at the theater or a day at the fair in their very own backyard. The Victor Valley features an abundance of recreational options, with a splendid performing arts center in the Victor Valley College campus where visitors can attend a variety of performances. Old Town Victorville is home to numerous eclectic antique stores and specialty shops for those who like to hunt for local bargains, and kids may enjoy a fun day at the Apple Valley Science and Technology Center. To truly experience the community of Victorville at its best, attend the annual San Bernardino County Fair, when the streets come to life with carnival rides, livestock competitions, exhibits, a rodeo and celebrity concerts. Other great features of Victorville are the High Desert Mavericks baseball team, 13 green city parks, golf courses, and hundreds of restaurants that serve everything from gourmet dishes to ethnic cuisine! Whether you're a golfer, shopper, foodie, art-connoisseur or sports fan Victorville has you covered.
