With around 45,119 residents, San Luis Obispo is tucked right between the Coast Range, the Pacific Ocean and smack in the middle of Central Coast Wine Country. San Luis Obispo means St. Louis, the Bishop (of Toulouse) in Spanish, and residents in this wonderful city can enjoy the best of life with year-round sun and Mediterranean weather. Situated in one of the finest wine regions in the world, with thousands of acres of protected space and a vibrant downtown, San Luis Obispo has plenty to offer its denizens.
