NORTH READING
Massachusetts, U.S.A.
AN ATTRACTIVE BOSTON SUBURB
Welcome to North Reading, Massachusetts.
North Reading is a quaint little town in Middlesex County, home to around 15,000 people. The town was officially incorporated in 1853, and still retains numerous well-preserved buildings dating back to 1730. The town center boasts historic architecture with features like the Federal style meeting house and an affluent Federal Village, where visitors can wander in an adorable district of restored period-houses. The town center also has some modern additions, like the recently finished state-of-the-art high school. With its excellent schools, historic beauty, green location within the Ipswich River watershed and proximity to the City of Boston, North Reading is a very attractive place to live for families, commuters and others. For recreation, visit the Hillview Golf Course, featuring 18 challenging holes in an expansive landscape. The course offers a wonderful golfing experience for beginners to experts, and is one of the best and most affordable clubs in the area. For those with kids, take them to the popular Celebration Kingdom, an open playhouse with tons of fun like bouncy houses and other exciting features. The whole family can also enjoy the public open spaces of Ipswich River Park, Eisenhaures Pond Park, and other green areas. For a day of cultural and historic exploration, visit the Flint Memorial Library, and when you're done, stop by Mike's famous roast beef and pizza for some mouthwatering local specialties!
