Florida, U.S.A.
Welcome to "The Theme Park Capital of the World", home to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, Gatorland and Wet'n Wild - to name a few.
Orlando is an epicenter of tourism, and is one of the most visited cities in America. The Orlando International Airport is the 13th busiest in the World, but it's also known for having the second-largest university campus in the United States. It's a major industrial hi-tech center, recognized for its contributions to digital media, agricultural technology, aviation, aerospace, and software. Orlando is also home to the seventh largest research park in the country, Central Florida Research Park, with over 1,025 acres and staffed with 8,500 people by 120 companies. It is the center of the nation's military simulation and training programs. Orlando consists of 115 neighborhoods and several unincorporated communities. Being so close to the Caribbean and Central America, the population is naturally diverse, and is home to the fastest growing Puerto Rican community in the country. With a geography of mostly wetlands, featuring many lakes and swamps, the land is mostly flat. Many lakes and ponds are within a stone's throw from each other. This soft, wet landscape makes the area susceptible to sinkholes, but the local government take precautions to ensure this isn't a major problem for most people. The climate is tropical, with random small pockets of drizzle bursting through the clouds every so often, not to mention the occasional thunderstorms with fantastic lightning shows. The summer season is hot and humid, and the humidity prevents the temperatures from ever rising past 100 F.
