Welcome to Moreno Valley, California.
With around 193,365 residents, Moreno Valley is the second largest city in the Riverside County. Situated at a geographical crossroad in the Greater Los Angeles area, Moreno Valley boasts spectacular scenery with the towering Box Springs Mountain visible from anywhere in the city. Outdoorsy folks can rejoice in the fact that Moreno Valley boasts 32 parks and joint-use facilities; including the 8,000 acre Lake Perris State Park, which offers activities like fishing, boating, camping. Try horseback riding on the Box Springs Mountain Park's many trails, or play golf at Moreno Valley Ranch Club; ranked among the top courses in the U.S. Moreno Valley features lots of festivals and events throughout the year, and if you truly want to get to know the community, this is a great place to start. One of the better festivities is the MoVal Rocks! Concert Series, when the town comes together to enjoy lively concerts and food from local vendors. The summer series culminates in the anticipated Battle of Bands Competitions, an exciting event that is fun for the whole family.
