Among the honored are several Presidents of the United States, and music and show business celebrities like Elvis and Elizabeth Taylor. Gerhard Frenzel and Barbara Foster-Henderson established the Walk of Stars in 1992, and the first induction ceremony was held on February 26, 1992. The first Golden Palm Stars were dedicated to Earie C. Strebe, William Powel, Ruby Keeler, Charles Farrell and Ralph Bellamy.
