Welcome to the Central Business District, Denver.
The Central Business District may sound like a boring place filled with impersonal high-rises and bank buildings, but that is far from the truth. In fact, the residential growth of this neighborhood has been among the strongest in the city! The neighborhood features charming historic buildings reminiscent of Denver's past, many of which have been renovated into hip apartments and luxury condos. All of them tell their own story of the old era, when Denver's downtown was a burgeoning area of possibility. While there are indeed many office buildings in the area, residents here are surrounded by exquisite dining establishments, upscale shopping and excellent art and culture venues. Should you relocate to this area, rejoice in the fact that a car is only needed for longer trips, as everything is just a quick walk or shuttle ride away. There are an abundance of recreational options with attractions like The Denver Center for Performing Arts, Denver Art Museum, Colorado History Museum, Cherry Creek and the Pepsi Center gems that can all be found within walking distance for lucky downtown residents. If you're in town for the weekend, head to the Larimer Square for a quaint experience of historic buildings, hip shops and great restaurants, or check out the Denver Pavilions with more than 50 shops, restaurants and a movie theater.
