Welcome to Central Yucaipa, the heart of the beautiful city of Yucaipa.
This is where you'll find most of the city's commercial shopping center and City Hall, as well as the smaller neighborhoods of Sun Park, the Uptown Business District and various surrounding properties. Central Yucaipa is home to approximately 34,526 residents, and features 68 restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The neighborhood is very walk friendly, and people here can travel by foot to most establishments in five minutes; however, a car is needed to get to larger stores and various schools in the city. The city of Yucaipa is home to the Yucaipa Regional Park, Flag Hill Veterans Memorial Park, Seventh Street Park, I Street Park and Wildwood Park, and residents in Central Yucaipa have no shortage of access to recreational space within driving distance. The city also recently added the Yucaipa Community Park, the Bryant Glen Sports Complex, the Rick McCowan Regional Soccer Complex and the newly established Wildwood Canyon State Park. The Wildwood Canyon State Park is well worth the trip as it features panoramic views of Yucaipa's surrounding hills and valley. Situated in the eastern foothills of San Bernardino Mountain, it offers broad grasslands and century-old live oak canopies, and those who love the outdoors will find hundreds of species of wildlife and native plants, some of them endangered and very rare.
