California, U.S.A.
Welcome to Camarillo, California.
Camarillo is a city in Ventura County, home to around 65,000 people and plenty of amenities. Venture Freeway is the primary thoroughfare in the city of Camarillo, which was named after Adolfo and Juan Camarillo; two of the pre-1848 California natives of Hispanic ancestry. The two brothers preserved the area's Mexican heritage after the arrival of Anglo settlers, and grew the city with an industry of lima beans, walnuts and citrus. Today, Camarillo is known as a hub for advanced technology, retail and specialty businesses. The community is consistently ranked as one of the safest in Ventura County, and thanks to its convenient location between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, it attracts plenty of families. People come to enjoy the many amenities in the region, while living in an affordable, thriving and safe community. Camarillo boasts several attractions, ranging from events and concerts to historic destinations and most importantly; shopping. History buffs should stop by the old Camarillo Ranch, a richly restored ranch home with 6,000 square feet of magnificent grandeur. Those who like festivities and music can enjoy free concerts in the Constitution Park every summer, and shopaholics from all over will want to visit the Camarillo Premium Outlets. The outlets deserve an extra mention, as it is one of the things Camarillo is most known for; attracting thousands of people daily from near and far. The Camarillo Premium Outlets is one of the hottest shopping destinations for the Ventura, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara areas, and includes a myriad of brand name stores with steep discounts. So bring your wallet and prepare to leave anything but empty handed! Another place to shop is Old Town Camarillo, located in the heart of the old Camarillo town-site from 1910. This quaint little neighborhood is filled with treasures, ranging from boutiques to restaurants and plenty of charming atmosphere to go around. Other spots to visit include the WWII Aviation Museum, Pleasant Valley Society Museum and of course the many parks; including the lush Camarillo Grove Park with its many recreation amenities!
