Welcome to Brookwood, Atlanta.
This wealthy area is situated in the heart of the city and is often referred to as uptown. The streets are lined with towering office buildings, large hotels and several banks, alongside plenty of single-family homes. Residential construction is often luxurious, and locals have access to the best in amenities. Brookwood is also conveniently located to highways and public transportation, furthering the desirability of this coveted neighborhood. The area is in fact one of the richest parts of not only Atlanta, but also the entire South! As far as wining and dining, the denizens of Brookwood are showered in first class options. In fact, the restaurant scene here is so famous that talented chefs from all over the country flock to make themselves a name. Check out the Bones steakhouse, where you can devour mouth-watering steaks and some of the best seafood money can buy. Revel in the upscale interior and old-school ambience, while this pristine establishment serves you some of the most immaculately prepared food your taste buds have ever met. Those who are looking for more affordable options could try out the Holeman and Finch restaurant. This place is equally upscale but with a more modern feel and slightly more distinct dishes, like oxtail and rabbit. You may also want to stay for a drink or two, since the bartenders here are known for a their exceptional mixology skills! If you're looking for more of a party, head down to some of the many clubs and lounges that the neighborhood offers. Have a cold on the rocks at the rooftop of Whiskey Blue, or dance for hours at the Sanctuary Night Club and Lounge. For more recreation, residents can enjoy live performances at the Chastain Park Amphitheater, or experience a bit of culture at the Atlanta History Center. And if you have kids, there is a big chance they will nag themselves blue to get you to take them to a playful day at Legoland!
