ART DISTRICT ON SANTA FE
THE LARGEST ART DISTRICT IN COLORADO
Welcome to the Art District on Santa Fe in Denver.
This neighborhood is a unique and nationally renowned art and cultural district, featuring well above 60 galleries, restaurants and retail stores. The eclectic art district is conveniently situated smack in the middle of the urban center of Denver, only a few blocks from downtown. This is the heart of Denver's art community and the neighborhood houses more the largest concentration of art galleries on all of Colorado! Down here you'll find everything from contemporary paintings and controversial artworks to sculpture, photography, mixed medial graphic art, and textiles. If you're new to the area, the First Friday Art Walk is a great event where you can truly experience the district's diversity. Every first Friday of the month, The Art District becomes a giant gallery with every studio opening its doors to the public. The art walk is a major source of festivity and creative networking, and crowds from all over the city fill up the streets with their lively atmosphere. Those who are more of connoisseurs in the art world and who wants a more intimate setting, can attend the Collector's Night on every third Friday of the month. Worth a visit is also the Museo de las Americas, where attendees can explore Latino art from all over Central and South America. If you enjoy Mexican culture and art, this is your ideal neighborhood. The Art District on Santa Fe features some of the most authentic Mexican culture in the city, and is home to local gems like the Tortilla Factory and the only place in town that still makes custom zoot suits.
